This image "Home Sweet Home" is a sketch the artist I created upon visiting a homeless veterans tent in San Diego, California in January of 2001. At the top of the image is the head of a man sleeping . Hanging on the bedrails are his clothes and at the bottom is his shoes. I was moved by the fact that this man served his country honorably only to be resigned to this fate.
